Uniform-Ed

This is a side project my friend Govinda and I started in partnership with Color Nepal, the nonprofit I work at in the Kathmandu valley. Our first round of donations came from a bunch of friends and we produced 18 uniforms in total. It was an incredible experience to witness what joy just a brand new school uniform gave these kids. It made them feel that studying was so important and that their efforts were rewarded and respected.

If interested, please consider purchasing a uniform for one of the kids. This will go towards the production and donation of one school uniform for a kid between the ages of 5 and 16 at the Shree Bal Vikas Samaj English Medium Basic School in Kathmandu, Nepal. Each uniform is individually tailored to the kid and we use a high-quality material that will make the uniforms last an average of around six months if heavily used. This first batch was made for the kids at the school with the highest markings in their respective classes. We hope to continue this with your support for the rest of the students.
In return for your donation, you will receive a picture of its recipient by email. Although don't expect something super quick, this is on the side of all the work I do so that email might come months after the uniform has already been made and donated.
